I am the only one who keeps rewatching the instagram videos ahahaha
@CollegeIsAMaybe The package one is like hypnotizing or something…omg I can’t wait till thursday hopefully something arrives tomorrow
30% of admits have 4.0s? There goes my chance
Where are you finding these numbers?
I applied to annenberg for communications. UW GPA is 3.5 SAT = 2200 great EC’s and pretty good essays imo
do i have a chance?
I found it!
@sbkid14 i applied to annenberg also with essentially the same stats!
@sbkid14 Too late for chancing now, the packets are in the mail!! Anything we say will be meaningless.
@vballgurl too early to give up now - there’s a lot more to admissions than GPA
Important question!!!
I’m from New York and my brother goes to USC (he’s a sophomore in the architecture school). Will this increase my chances of being accepted since im more likely to go because of my brother being there??
my brother also went there! I’ve heard different things about it helping you or not but what i know for sure is when i looked at the freshman profile from last year it said that 19% are Scions (apparently thats what they call legacy students) so that’s reassuring that at least they like to see legacies @emilyjack45
@apples90049 okay that sounds promising thanks!
Might as well post some stats since other people are to see what you all think of my chances: Got a 4.0 GPA, 10 AP classes up to Junior year (17 including this year), 8 5’s and 2 4’s on AP tests, a 2310 and 34 SAT/ACT, 800 Math Level 2 and 740 Physics. My Common App essay was good, while my Supplement was okay. Kinda scared.
Hey guys, I can’t rreally tell from the map…will Chicago residents get it in 2 days or 3 days? (The mail package)
4.52 GPA, salutatorian, 33 ACT, lots of leadership, applied to Annenberg for journalism!!
@vballgurl - That many with a 4.0 doesn’t surprise me. I’m more stunned by the stat that 3500 admits have test scores in the 99th percentile, Wow. That said, there is more to admissions than GPA and test scores. Good luck!
nvm
the average GPA is 3.83… well there goes my chances
Do we know average ACT?
I would guess a 31 or 32 with the info that 77% are in the 95% (30) or higher @collegemomjam
