so the rejection letters and acceptance letters look different, right?
@jjangjjang yes, they are, accept is a yellow packet, and the rejects should be just a regular envelope
@jyaangg ok, thanks! i got confused while reading the previous comments LOL i’m so scared for the results!!
So If i don’t get a yellow envelope by thursday since i’m in the 2 day spot it basically means i’m rejected
My heart is beating so fast. I want nothing more than to get in. I don’t think I’ve wanted anything this badly, ever. I’ve worked so hard for this dream. I just hope it becomes a reality. I’m one of the few homeschooled applicants, so perhaps that will play into my favor. Who knows?
Good luck everyone! And the mail can be unreliable so no envelope on Thursday isn’t necessarily a rejection.
Guys just stay strong, whatever happens, happens for a reason. I’ve been rejected from all my universities so far except USC. Just gotta stay positive whatever happens.
Oh the admissions counselor told me that it only showed up on those who were rejected.
This whole snail mail decision letter thing just emphasizes my hatred for living in Central New York.
@officialdaunte What admissions counselor
No one on this forum doesn’t have the appeal admissions option…there’s no way it means anything
Even people who were accepted have it.
This guy that I talked to on the phone. but I called again and the lady told me they popped up on everyones account because decisions were released today. So I’m hoping she is right lol
I don’t think they would be allowed to tell you that even if it did mean rejected. So idk what that guy was doing hahah.
The lady was really nice though. If i was y’all I would call asking the same thing. When I talked to the lady and asked she answered me in a “No way I wouldn’t think thatif I were you, But I’m not allowed to tell if you were admitted or not. You understand?” To me I took it as a hint I was admitted. But idk that first guy kinda scared me. Butt call and ask the same thing and see what they say everyone. They may hint it.
Now if on Friday I get a rejection letter I will be really sad lol
My GPA is higher than said average 3.8, but my SAT seems to be a bit lower than usual (its pretty low for USC standards). However, my grandpa went there and I have good ECs, plus a USC alumni wrote one of my LOR’s (not my grandpa obviously). I’m not counting on getting in to be honest, but I think it would be pretty cool to get in!
@apples90049 wait is the statement of intent the same thing as statement of purpose? I have statement of purpose but not the other one
@officialdaunte which program did you apply for?
I have a 4.0 and I’m in the 99th percentile…hope that bodes well for me!
