@katcon wow you go haha
Does anyone know how much USC comes out to in total cost?
@mellyjune yeah same thing
Where is this appeal admission thing on the portal? I don’t see it.
@TodaysEinstein About $65,000…
We are in Florida, so that envelope has a long way to travel. Son applied to Viterbi.
does anyone know if they’ll be sending packets overseas?
@IntApp15 Yes they will, I live in Hong Kong, and my friend who got admitted as a scholarship finalist got the big yellow package 2 days after it was sent out.
why can’t they just update the portal now…
Wait, they can get to Hong Kong in two days but it’ll take twice as long to get to NY lol?
@jimbonesjones check under uploaded documents
So anyone know if the 2 day USPS service for most of the country means most of us will be getting it on Thursday? Or maybe USC sent out the packages late this afternoon and so technically it won’t be in the mailing slot until tomorrow?
Yeah I don’t get how it can be 2 days of HK and NY LOL. just hoping it’ll come tomorrow for CA
I bet most wll get their big gold envelope by Thursday. Also, costs are: tuition: $50,000 and room and board $16,0000 on average, plus spending money, health insurance and travel. It is the most expensive school in the country at about $68,000 per year at least.
I just logged in and saw that I have financial aid stuff pending. Will this affect my admissions decision?

Enter 90089 for USC. unless you live in Alaska, Maine, Wyoming, or any of those isolated patches in the middle of the country, you get it in roughly 2 days. Like people have said, it’s pretty unpredictable.
@awesomekid
For all those international students, sorry, but it’s gonna be 3 to 5 days. You might as well check your portal as it would be faster that way.

@tabletop12
USC is need blind, which means they don’t check how much you can pay while making their decision.
Also, decisions apparently were already finalized earlier this month so it doesn’t make a difference. Maybe they have that status for everyone because I doubt they would have the status for financial aid say something like “Oh, we’ve already denied you so we’re not reviewing your financial aid package anymore” before you actually get your rejection letter
Well so it says that I have to update my proof of citizenship, which I have yet to do. If I haven’t done that yet, does that impact my decision is what I was wondering. @redwall1521
Even though my son has pretty much decided not to go to USC :-(, I am an alumnus and the mom of 2 other USC students, so I am very much invested in the Trojan Family. I can’t help but live vicariously through all of you. It brings back memories of me nervously waiting for my sons’ acceptances. You all seem so hopeful, passionate and excited. You make me so proud. I wish you all could make it. Never give up on your dreams. Fight on!
