@tabletop12 we had a similar situation where the financial aid office was looking for some additional information from our 2014 tax return. We learned this when my son checked the portal over the weekend. I called the Financial Aid office yesterday and was assured the admissions and financial aid process were very separate and distinct processes and my sons admission decision would not be impacted by this request. However, it is in our best interest to get the info they need asap so it will not impact our financial aid.

How many other people applied to USC from yalls high schools? We had six, which for a class of 500 all the way out in Texas seems like a lot, I can’t see them accepting all of us
@CollegeIsAMaybe I wish 6 people applied from my school! I think we had about 80 out of a class of about 190. I go to a non-secular private in the Bay Area; lots of people claim to use it as their safety, which pisses me off tbh.
Well last year… over 100 applied from my school.

Approximately 70 people in my grade applied… and we only have about 115 people in my grade… Its a small private school and alot of people from my school apply each year… Awesome. 
Most of the people in my grade are ridiculously smart too so I’m not doing so good stress level wise…
Im also from Long Island, NY and about 4 people from my grade applied out of 100 
I live in a small town in Tennessee, so I’m the only one who applied from my school. (Pretty sure I’m the first ever to apply, actually)
Where do you see on Naviance (presumably) how many applied from your school? I’ve never seen that feature, I can only see past years’ results
@katcon same. My guidance counselor didn’t even know what USC was. I’m the only person applying this year, pretty sure first ever too.
Same, I’m the only one from my school applying at USC our of 1000 people
@dogluuuver97 dang that’s crazy anyone would use USC as a safety. One or two at my school applied just for the heck of it, but they don’t even think they’ll get in let alone call it a safety
