I wish they didn’t send only acceptances as priority mail. Now if I don’t get anything in the mail tomorrow I’m going to freak out and assume I got rejected :((

@tychofighter the location. I’m from SoCal and absolutely love it and despise the cold! Also the quarter system at Dartmouth worries me.
@apples90049 there are already several hundred admits (seemingly most of them on this forum) who were admitted into special programs or received the big scholarships.

@katcon if no USC, please don’t give up that almost full ride to Dartmouth for Chapman!!! If you need to be in SoCal, go to Oxy, it’s a much better school.

If I don’t get into USC (or NYU, who also sends out decisions this week), then I’m going to LMU in LA until I can hopefully transfer into USC…I just so want to go to SC! 
LMU has the 5th highest ranked (USA Today poll, 8th from THW) film program in the United States so I guess it’s not a massive compromise…
Did you get into Chapman? Why wouldn’t you have applied to Chapman as well as LMU? Chapman’s facilities and faculty and trend is very high
Like he/she said, LMU is pretty damn good, just not the absolute pinnacle (but pretty close to it). LMU for film much better than Chapman and much more tied into industry.
I’m so nervous & I don’t even live in SoCal area so the mail delivery is not going to happen until maybe tomorrow… I might as well just stare inside my mailbox all day today, waiting for an envelope to just magically teleport from the void. I mean, I live in a desert, and Nightvale-y alien things happen… That’s how science works, right?
