@michaelt0101 congrats!
when do you think we will find out about other scholarships like the BSA scholarships
Congratulations to all scholarship winners!
@Newsie2015 I think they will come in with the financial aid packages
Is an invite to interview for Town & Gown a good sign? Any correlation with acceptances?
@Newsie2015 I think you receive them after admission to the university

OK, so my son was in contention for Trustee, but got a Presidential. No hard feelings here. I am so proud of him for making it that far and so grateful that he got the opportunity to experience USC Explore. Honestly, he is a bit relieved because he would have felt obligated to go to USC and I don’t think that is his dream. I know, from having 2 older sons for which USC was the ultimate dream, how important even getting into USC, let alone getting a scholarship, is. I would have felt awful if he had been awarded a Trustee that someone else really wanted. My son has already been awarded a full scholarship, plus a $6000 research stipend to Vanderbilt. Despite that, he is still leaning toward UChicago, so I knew USC was probably out of the running with or without the Trustee. As a USC alum and mom, I am sorry to see my run of USC kids suspended (though I have one more in the queue – 8 years from now!) But, I want my kids to go after their dreams. Sons 1 and 2 got to live their dreams at USC. To all of you who choose to go to USC, regardless of whether or not you get a scholarship, congratulations. Welcome to the Trojan family. You’re going to love it. To those who don’t get in, there is always the transfer route. Never give up on your dreams. Fight on!
D was awarded a Presidential scholarship!!! She loved the Explore USC experience and the Viterbi School. Feeling incredibly grateful to USC for this opportunity.
Just got waitlisted at UCLA. Just another reason to say FUcla #fighton
