@jancoisdead we’re you selected to interview for a scholarship in January? That’s the only way that you can get a scholarship from USC - invitations to interview at ExploreUSC went out in January and were conducted in late February/early March.
@LegacyMom No email here. Found out by browsing CC just after getting up. Heart rate shot up right after reading @LayraSparks post.
@lespronoms ohhhhh no haha, makes sense now
@LesPronoms – OK, I’ll just wait for snail mail then. My son is not a portal stalker and I don’t know his log in. I will just patiently wait. Congratulations!
@legacymom do u know what the Steven and Alexandra Cohen scholarship is? And how much they give?
@Itsdomoo , IDK what that is, but if you are applying for SCA and haven’t been accepted yet,but they are referring you to that scholarship, that looks like a good sign. Congrats!

@legacymom I haven’t gotten it, but they told me a month ago to fill out a for it and I was wondering what it was lol
@Itsdomoo – Looks VERY promising. Congrats!
@legacymom please don’t do that to me hahaha my anxiety is already through the roof
Congratulations for all of you who just found out they got in with the Trustee Scholarship!!
Also I’d like to clear things up for people waiting for the snail mail. Both admissions and rejections are mailed at the same time, so if you do not get any mail in your mailbox until the portal decision date, that DOES NOT mean that you are rejected!
All my friends who lived around me last year found out on the same day if they got into USC or not. (I’m from Southern California near LA)
@irsdimoo OK – sorry – fingers crossed!
@dchoiiii rejections are sent by first class and acceptances are sent by priority so if you live father away from usc (not Southern California) rejections come the day after typically
@LegacyMom thanks so much for your kind words! I know admissions are pretty fickle, but USC really is my top choice. And I’m actually a he lol
Congrats to everyone who received the big scholarships, nice job guys and girls
@CollegeIsAMaybe OK sir! Well, good luck to you! It is a shame colleges can’t trade “draft picks”. Although my son didn’t apply to Cornell, I imagine there is someone out there who would be thrilled with Cornell. I can understand why USC would be your top choice – it is an amazing school. It was the dream school for my first 2 sons and they were both thrilled to get in. I hope you get your wish.
I’m really hoping that USC doesn’t play games this year and do the big letter vs. small one lol. It won’t really make a difference for me seeing that I’m 1. in the midwest and 2. going to be out of town until the 29th but still.
@Itsdomoo I received that email for the scholarship too!
@layraSparks @learn2019 @LesPronoms Congratulations to you all! My D got her Presidential! Woo-hoo!! She’s all over social media finally able to declare herself a Trojan
Congrats @Choirmom09 !!!
@Platinumxx2 did u get an email last night from the dean?
