@CollegeIsAMaybe , First of all, congrats on getting a “likely” from Cornell! That is outstanding. I would assume this makes your chances for USC good, but you just never can predict what the most competitive schools will do. I know it sounds cliche, but sometimes it really is about fit, social engineering or other intangible factors. My son is a candidate for the Trustee Scholarship with USC, but didn’t get into MIT. Uclabound is a frequent poster on this USC thread who was not among those picked for USC’s Trustee or Presidential scholarships, but he DID get into MIT! You just never know what admissions are looking for. As a USC alum and parent, I am thrilled to see a student of Cornell calibre more concerned with what that “likely” means for her chances at USC. Fight on!

@jancoisdead go to the admissions decision tab, and the scholarship notification should be right above your admission decision (if you were selected for a scholarship interview)

@jancoisdead Yes. Login and click on the “Admission decision” tab, and then you should see the scholarship notification (if and only if you were selected to interview for USC’s merit scholarships)

@LayraSparks @LesPronoms , Did you get an email notification of a status change? I want my son to find out on his own without any prompting from me. If he has to go look for it, I’m going to be waiting a loooooooong time.
