Are you guys requesting a single or double room?

and what halls are you hoping for?

@Celtic02 Most of the people still active on this thread either haven’t gotten a decision yet or are on the waitlist! Although we are all hopeful, I don’t think anyone on here will be able to answer your question. I’m pretty sure there is a Facebook group you could join where you could ask questions for students who have already been admitted!

Are people still waiting to hear back? I applied May 20th but my counselor said the transfer class was still open.

@Cardinal16 Since you applied after the deadline, the number of slots becomes limited so unfortunately chances get slimmer the longer after the deadline you wait. Most on this thread have already head back one way or another. Your application may only receive a decision after they begin admitting off the waitlist. Best of luck!

Has anyone on the waitlist heard anything? Has anyone who hadn’t received a decision yet been notified? :)

@jfcampos I am that wait list struggle bus too.

So much waiting…

has anyone heard anything from the waitlist yet?

No :(

Nothing this week :/

Hey guys, I just checked myappvu and the waitlist is officially closed :(

I just checked as well and mine says the same thing…does that mean that we didn’t get off the wait list? Is our portal supposed to say admitted if we come off?

If your portal says wait list closed you didn’t come off, just spoke to an admissions counselor.

got the email the waitlist closed :((

I got the e-mail as well, didn’t even have a chance to send my Spring grades… Did anyone get in off the waitlist?

I got the email on my way to visiting the campus. I was connecting in Atlanta and got it when I checked my email. Didn’t they say not til mid July?

Hey everyone, I’m looking to transfer into Vanderbilt University FOR the Fall of 2015. Here are my stats.
GPA: 3.95 / SAT: 2100 / Psychology Major / Hispanic URM / Community College student with an A.A.

Based on how well people did this year, am I a likely admit? Just be honest but don’t give me that “you never know” and “it is very selective” liner.

@PSC2IVY You’ve got a decent shot, but they do heavily prefer people who come from 4 year schools. I don’t know too many people who came from a community college in this years class, however I’m sure there are some.
That being said, with those numbers plus being a URM, if someone is going to get in from a community college, it’ll probably be you. However, be advised most of the time they don’t take junior college credits.

That’s fine. I planned on redoing the general education requirements because I didn’t feel adequately challenged when I took them at my CC so not a negative for me.
Thanks for the reply tho.
