The pre-game show has been going on for almost an hour.

Holland should Win the world cup

Given:
-Our Octopus has predicted 7 correct results in a row
-He selects the results randomly
-The probability of randomly selecting 8 correct results in a row is 1/256
-He has selected Spain

∴ Holland have a 255/256 chance of winning this game.

^I just died a little inside

He picked Spain in the Germany-Spain game.
The octopus is an oracle.

Nonetheless, VIVA LA FURIA ROJA!

No, the Netherlands need to win!

^^^Lawl. It’s actually a surprisingly common error.

Can you believe the holland guy didn’t get red carded? That was dirty.

^That was absolutely brutal. The best way to revenge is to score.
This game is full of fouls and cards.

Not only did he not get red carded but Spain should have been played possession! They had a breakaway off the deflection and a through ball. Whether or not they would have finished it - we will never know.

@Harvey - unfortunately statistics doesn’t exactly work like that (though I assume you are joking?)

I’m rooting for the Dutch and even I think that should’ve been a red card! shakes head I don’t know what the ref saw.

Im sick of the ref falliing for all of lhis diving crap.

Still no goals. Hopefully we’ll at least see a couple of reds in ET.

Casillas is the hero.

This is the final with the more number of yellow cards since ever by FAR.
It’s ridiculous, the Dutch are too violent.

I think this will come down to PKs…

^^ agreed
He should be picked best player of the match.

Holland-The only team to have more cards then shots on goal

How many yellow cards were distributed during that game?

Please Spain was almost as bad. How the HELL did they get that goal kick at the end when it was clearly off Spain? Robben on his break obviously was fouled and should have gotten a penalty kick.

Ref should be sent packing.

After looking at some of the statistics, I believe that there were 13 yellow cards given.
