I’m an international! where are you from? I’m in France. Are you applying SCEA?

I am so nervous! Why does December 15 have to be so far away?!?

lolz. I’m doing SCEA and it kind of boggles my mind that people have already submitted it. o.O I guess I’ll be submitting the online part sometime next week… need to bug my teachers about recs still. :/

let’s talk about something fun!!!

(except i have no suggestions)

Pop culture Yale references :D

I’ll start with the obvious: Gilmore Girls.

did anyone see this?

[Emma Watson Finishes Touring Harvard, Gives Yale a Whirl > celebrities, emma watson, harry potter, Harvard, pre-frosh, Yale | IvyGate](http://www.ivygateblog.com/2008/10/emma-watson-finishes-touring-harvard-gives-yale-a-whirl/)

eldie: I’m international too and yes I’m SCEA.

eating food: I just looked at that and I am NOT AMUSED (cos of the competition) but hey, it’d be nice to go to school with her…I guess.

Just submitted my app. Now for the butterflies…

haha I AM.
That’d be so awesome to possibly be in the same class as Hermione- errr. Emma Watson. I mean it’s expected right? She’s around our age, only slightly older, and she probably has the most amazing extracurriculars out of any of us :P

haha, “Harry Potter’s first boner”…

ew.

^ Oh Ivyleague bloggers :)

I heard she’s applying to Oxford too (and every other Ivy…maybe). I guess it couldn’t get any worse for me who’s really relying on my essays cos everyone’s got better extracurriculars!

but could you imagine going to school with her? lol, so cool.

she’ll probably end up going to Oxford, though.

Anyone else looking at the print preview and thinking, “wow, this looks empty”?
I haven’t taken any college courses and none of my siblings have been to college. SO MUCH EMPTY SPACE.

i am an official yale EA 2013 hopeful!
is anyone here an athletic recruit?

I just had my alumni interview today (even though I already had an on campus interview…?) and it went really well Gahh it just made me want to go to Yale even more though, which is bad because I am NOT going to get in :(

gahh i havent been contacted by an interview yet, but its been 3 week ssince i submitted my app

im on Long Island which is ivy feeder so i figured I would definitely get an interview. Is everyone contacted once they submit their app???

Isn’t Emma Watson in Cambridge University (UK) already? She has the most amazing A Level report card, btw.
Anyway, these people (celebrities, president’s children) are gonna get in anywhere, no matter how dismal their resume and activities list look. It’s called the free publicity factor. Yes life isn’t fair…

People have already submitted their stuff AND get interviewed? Am I the only one around here who barely finishes her first essay, hasn’t started on 2nd essay, and is struggling with the supplement short questions?

It’s not ALL laziness. There’s a thing called A Levels (and a series of school test and consultation)…

collegebound: I submitted my app last week and still haven’t gotten my confirmation e-mail from Yale yet and I was just contacted by an alum yesterday. I live in CT, where I would imagine there are a lot of Yale applicants.

confused: I’m just a loser who is so obsessed with wanting to go to Yale that she’s spent every free minute of her time working on the app :)

You are not only, my friend.

I haven’t started either of my essays !!
:)
