<p>I know that sending it in early isn’t supposed to help, but the people I know who applied Yale EA with similar stats, the only difference between who got in and who didn’t was when the application I sent…rejects were sent the last week, while accepted was like late september/early october. I’m not saying it’s going to get you in sending it early, but it should leave a good impression (IF you don’t make any mistakes!)</p>
<p>Has anyone recieved notification that their transcript/teacher recs/counselor rec are in? I’ve sent them all but I haven’t heard about anything besides my application and test scores.</p>

they don’t tell you. when you get your Eli number and have your status page, it says they won’t be displayed (only the payment and common app and supplement will) until 11/15. Why this, I don’t know. but if you are MISSING anything by or near the deadline, they will tell you. its really stupid.</p>

<p>I hope not: it seems really superficial. I have all my stuff done, but I’m waiting to see if something I helped write is published in a Law Review. Oh well…</p>
<p>How long after you submitted your application did you get your confirmation e-mail and the letter with your Eli ID? I submitted mine last Sunday and still haven’t received an e-mail, but it says my application was downloaded on Monday.</p>
<p>My email took about a week and my Eli ID letter took about two and a half.</p>
<p>I’m so happy right now…I’m being forced to finish my Yale supp. essay tonight…I’ve been working on it for 2 days and it’s coming along very nicely…</p>

<p>^It did for me. I submitted in late September. Don’t worry about it, though. If the Common App says they’ve downloaded it, your email should come soon enough. I assume they have a lot of applications to ge through.</p>
