My H got ran over last year by a fork truck at work. He now wears bright orange hoodies. He has received a lot of positive comments and hasn’t been hit again. As a plus, he’s easier to find in Walmart when I lose sight of him. We’re sort of fond of the orange clothing.

Buying this for kiddo as a gift (could not locate a South Butt one):

Around here, Catholic schools obviously cost money, but typically significantly less than other private schools.

^^^
Exactly.

Nowhere did I say that Catholic schools = expensive private schools.

I was specifically talking about a situation at my kids’ school, where the parents are all professionals and everyone could afford to fork over $3. BTW…the tuition at this school wasn’t high at all.

Catholic schools are generally an extraordinarily good deal.

Unfortunately, they give entry preferences to Catholics, so it can be hard to get in otherwise.

lol…move to the South. At Catholic schools in the South, 50% of the kids may be non-Catholic. My kids’ K-8 was 30% non Catholic and the high school was probably closer to 40% non-Catholic…a mix of all religions or no religion.

Yippee-we found the apologist!
