I am so stupid that I didn’t check the boards before buying a phys book for my dec sat II…I bought barron’s physics 8th edition. But some ppl said it was crap? did anyone score high w/ ONLY the barron’s bk? Which sections should i NOT study in the barron’s bk? The barron’s bk have everything i need for the test, rite?

I own five SAT II Physics books. The Barron’s book is not crap, but you’d probably do best to get the Princeton Review book as well - it’s regarded as the most accurate and most clear. The Barron’s book probably has more than you will need.

The Barron’s book is not crap, but they do have mistakes in there, which are annoying, and it does go a bit overboard. I got 780 though, so I was pretty happy. I also used Sparknotes which complements Barron’s quite nicely. Only problem with Barrons is that the practice tests aren’t that accurate. I did okay because I’d studied everything in detail, NOT because I know exactly what I was going to get on the test. lol.
