Ok, now I have heard of everything! This is funny. Imagine, on the college application where you have to fill in if you have ever been suspended and the reasons why and what you have learned from the incidentâŠ

The article I read was funny too, but mainly because the kids mom was âoffendedâ because she had recently been hospitalized for gastro intestinal issues. (I donât find her medical issues funny, just that it cracks me up that she took it as a personal affront)

This article makes it a bit clearer that the school felt that the students had been doing it on purpose to cause a rukus and had previously been warned by the bus driver. If it was my kid I would have kept a low profile in fear of it ending up in the national news and on discussion forums!

jym626 - that thread was hysterical - one of the funniest things Iâve ever read. I canât believe I never read it before. I was almost crying.

Really? Hold a fart in for an hour? Iâm a very polite grown woman, but I doubt I could do that. How in the world can he expect a 13-year-old boy?

you never know, it could be the elusive hook they are looking for⊠self confidence, freedom of expression, risk taker, etc.

DougBetsy, technically speaking, you are correct. But with our mom- or dad-radar, letâs be honest here. What do you think the chances really are that a 13-year old boy was trying to hold it in? Weâre talking about a demographic that puts arm-pit sounds into the realm of high comedy.
