My daughter applied as a Fall 24 student. She was notified as a finalist on 1/13/24 and has an interview scheduled for February 7th. Final Friday activities are March 1st. She is super excited for this opportunity. If anyone can shed light on the personal interview, please do! Good luck to everyone!

We canât go on Buckeye Bound Day, so we registered for admitted student tour. I hope its the same or close! Same time frame in the day, so I assume its very similar.

Has anyone heard a decision re Honors yet?
OSU sent me an email a few days ago about submitting my top three scholar program preferences. I got rejected from honors tho.

How do u know you were rejected from Honors? Congrats on Scholars!
i just called Admissions Office and they advised that Honors decisions are on a rolling basis through March.

Does anyone know if we can put down a housing deposit without doing the enrollment deposit? I realize it would be non-refundable. Any clues about how housing selection is done?
No, you can not pay a housing deposit before committing to Ohio State. Nor is there any reason to do so.

Housing assigns freshman their dorm. Freshman provide their preferences, rate, area (N,S,W) and answer a few questions.
If you are reading on reddit about students choosing their dorms for next year this spring, those are sophomores.
You can, however, apply to be in a living learning community before youâve been accepted or received a housing contract.

Any word on Scholars yet? Same situation but still waiting on scholars.
We are admitted but on application we said ânoâ to being considered for honors college and scholars. Is there a way to now express interest in honors college or is it too late?
Since it was part of the original application on common app I looked and I think youâd have to call and maybe ask for reconsideration. There is not anything to âapplyâ to after your initial application online that I can see.
