Ohio State Announces Full Ride Scholarship for Residents w/ Perfect Test Scores

Since 36 ACT is equivalent to 1570-1600 SAT, it seems like a student who does equally well on the ACT and SAT would find it easier to get the 36 ACT than the 1600 SAT needed to qualify for this scholarship.

Note also that a 36 ACT does not require a top score of 36 on each section, while a 1600 SAT does require a top 800 score on each section.

Ohio is already a mostly ACT choosing state.

It’s the same with Alabama.

The ACT is a high school graduation requirement in Ohio. There is a state wide free testing date so makes sense the scholarship is ACT based.
