I hope it doesn’t because I don’t, but it’s required to set up Buckeyemail and I’m a bit worried consequently

I’m bumping this back down to be a reminder going in to tomorrow. Getting the Buckeye set up email is a good sign (if like last time, you will get in), but these do roll out till early afternoon, so if you don’t have yet, it is ok for now.

There’s also set up for duo mobile (two factor verification)
How important are ACT scores to OSU? I have a pretty well-rounded application, I’m just horrible with test-taking so I don’t have a super high ACT score. I’m wondering if I still have a chance?

My daughter was test optional and was accepted on 12/8. If you have a strong well-rounded app like you say, keep your hopes up! Good luck tomorrow!

I just want to add that for the December 8th decisions it was a very slow and inconsistent rollout. My daughter was accepted. However, she did not get the email to create a BuckeyeMail account as others did that morning. Her portal did change to show Final Transcripts due, but not until close to midnight and we are pacific time, so middle of the night ET. It wasn’t until mid-morning the next day (again PT) that the portal showed the status change to accepted, and the email to set up BuckeyeMail came after that sometime over the weekend. It is true that everyone in this forum, who was rejected began reporting those decisions first, then the deferrals, then the acceptances. Good luck to everyone tomorrow, and have patience. You may not find out your results until Saturday. GO BUCKS!

Remember to post if you receive an email saying to set up Ohio State email address. That was the big clue last time around. So far, no email here

They won’t start until around 3:30, usually with deferrals. Last year the acceptances started at around 5 pm and went thru 10 pm
In December people started to see changes in the portal, get emails to set up their school email, etc. That is what I was referring to…
