Mine was deferred as well. 
We got our acceptance around 8:30 PM EST in December

Did any of those who were deferred get the email about email being set up first?
I checked about 15 minutes ago, still āevaluationā on mine. Iāve decided Iām not gonna stress myself about it like last time by checking every 5 minutes so Iāll be back in a few hours 
Just remember everyone whatever happens, happens! youāll be at the school meant for you

Itās still way early.
Son got deferred, no e-mail and no change e-mail on the .edu page. So I think you are safe.

My son was deferred as well. No email

Got the āA BuckeyeMail account has been created for youā email. Status still shows Evaluation. Nothing in the To Do List section.
So itās funny (and confusing as hell!!) that the Change Email Delivery option says āAs an admitted applicant of the OSUā¦ ā¦ā,
and the email says āHowever, having a BuckeyeMail account and receiving this notification does not constitute a final acceptance for being a student at the Ohio State University or acceptance into any Graduate or other professional programs for which you may have applied.ā
Take a stand OSU!!

Deferred for daughter 2
Daughter 1 was accepted in first round to Business School.
Still hopeful. Both want to attend same school.

Daughter is crying her gut out. She was hoping to hear good news after initial disappointment.
Hopefully she can now send in her 7th semester grades and maybe take her ACT again.
That should boost her GPA and chances
