Was anyone who received this email rejected?
Not that I have personally seen on here or Reddit so far, but maybe someone else can chime in and confirm if they have seen the same trend.

For Dec. round, no one was rejected if they got the email set-up email.

It is a very likely theory almost confirmed. No one on CC or reddit that I know of got the email and was later rejected or deffered.

I would not expect those for a couple more hours. They came out very late last time in December. It was around 8-9pm eastern in december, some before and some up to a day later.

I hope youâre 100% right! My kid got the email earlier. But wow - how do you know so much?!
I would feel very, very confident. I went through the waiting in December, so iâm just sharing what I remember from that.

Adding my DDâs timeline here for info and to hopefully ease stress.
She was accepted in the December batch on 12/9. She got the âA BuckeyeMail account has been created for youâ email at 10:20pm CT and the âCongratulations on your admission to The Ohio State University!â email at 11:16pm. She had not checked the portal prior to that.

Does anyone know what time all the rejections and deferrals finished going out in the December batch? Itâs after 7pm now and so Iâm wondering if they will start rolling out the other decisions soon.
I would expect it to start in an hour or so.

in the December batch, acceptances started around 8 pm
