My DD received email on Nov5th to activate username and to enroll in BuckeyePass as two factor authentication , applied as an international student for CS major
Today no any emails so far
Email screenshot is as shown in below which received on Nov5th
Also got rejection. Did not receive an email today. Notification appeared in the applicant portal a few minutes ago.
A fresh take - I think the emails are just an indication that a BuckeyeLink account was set up for your student, which I believe they were supposed to do after applying. For those who did not set it up previously, it sounds like it was automatically set up. I am not sure it indicates anything, as it would be the delivery mechanism for an acceptance or rejection. Just a guess. My son takes classes at OSU as a senior, so already had this account.

Now I’m confused because my D received this set up a long time ago back when she first applied - they gave her an email address and everything. She cannot log into her account because the server has been down for awhile.

If my application status is still “evaluation” does that mean I’m not gonna hear today?
Someone said earlier that they do rejections and deferrals first and the acceptances closer to 6pm

Well my D is still in school (we’re in CA) and then off to swim practice directly from there so I guess I’ll have to suffer until this evening. 
People who got the email, are you even able to access the webpage?
But hopefully not until Jan!

If you got an email, and still don’t have a decision, you will probably get in later today. Acceptances are sent after denials and deffers which are already out!
