I know it’s impossible to get into Stanford & Upenn…etc… but I was just wondering. </p>

…my verbal sucks. I’m going to work my butt off to raise it</p>

would you prefer that i apply undecided to upenn for ED? or as mathematics major? Also… I’m interested in engineering… but not completely sure. Should I put in apps for engineering schools? </p>

<p>You are 3.8 UW and yet rank #1 out of a class of 500? Are you sure of this?–seems really unlikely</p>

<p>Also, can you tell us if you are in-state for California (makes a difference at UCLA, UCB and UCSD)</p>

<p>Um… my unweighted is 3.88. But my school calculates rank by weighted GPA.

<p>The SAT verbal and some of your low AP scores are the problem. With a 740 SAT I verbal score, you might be able to get into every one of these schools except Yale and Dartmouth.</p>

cuz I have a lot of friends with similar SAT scores and ec. all of them got into berkeley and ucla. :/<br>
If UCSD is really my only math…i’m depressed. T_T</p>
