ok to buy used lab notebook from Ned's?

<p>They don’t sell used lab notebooks because they don’t buy back used lab notebooks. Nobody does. It’s kind of pointless to sell back a lab notebook.</p>

<p>Lab MANUAL or Lab NOTEBOOK? Lab manuals are available used; lab notebooks definitely don’t. Perhaps they mean manual because it makes ZERO sense for them to take used lab notebooks, since you’re required to tear pages out of your notebook.</p>

<p>Just get the new one. Also, the manual and lab notebook and textbook usually come in one package that, if i recall, isn’t that bad a deal, unless they’ve jacked up the price. I’d recommend the whole package.</p>

<p>when i took chem 1a, about halfway through the semester (this is fall 07, if anyone else remembers this) they incorrectly dated the next owl as being due a month later than it was. so i saw that, and was like “PRO! i dont gotta do nothing for a month!” and so i proceeded to do nothing for a month and missed four owls and got an a- instead of an A.</p>

<p>speaking of owls… Should we buy the OWL for one semester or two? Chem 1a is only one semester, do we need it for Chem 3a?</p>

<p>3a/3b will never have any HW… your grade is 100% tests</p>

<p>…I think my year was the last year to use good ol’ pencil and paper homework submissions. Every monday morning, they had gigantic Rubbermaid buckets labeled with your lab day and time. It was kind of a stupid system, but at least we had one less newfangled thing to worry about.</p>
