Ok why do weinberg people keep getting crap lol

Weinberg is the backbone of the undergraduate curriculum and experience at NU in general. Other schools and programs feed off of it and build on it. Being in one rather than another is almost entirely a matter of interest, and not very much a matter of aptitude or ability. If Northwestern didn’t want you they didn’t have to take you in any school.

Because Weinberg is the most encompassing of NU’s undergraduate units, it tends to attract more people who choose it as a default than McC or Medill or even SESP. Those programs tend to be a little more focused and attract a more self-selected student. The best in any of NU’s schools are talented and equal to the best in any other NU school.
