if you were (instead of asian) a native american indian from some obscure Alaskan tribe - you would have a chance, otherwise its difficult

^lol…okay ill work on that one

Dude are you kidding me? Nobody has a chance =)

^lol, haha thats probably true too.

I actually think everything looks great… except your SAT score. I think 70% of Stanford admits have 2100+… so while 30% must have lower than 2100, 1900 might be significantly lower. I encourage you to retake it.

Your ECs are pretty cool… looks like you’ve taken initiative in what you enjoy and excelled!

Study for SAT (just take practice tests) and retake it. Take SAT IIs and do well on them, try taking ACT. If you raise your SAT score, you should have a good shot at it.
(How did you do on AP tests so far, btw?)

actually the Alaskangeographic locale would be a plus for some pretty major eastern USA schools… some very near the top 20 and some even in the top 20 who might favor a good GPA peformance

An asian indian who moves to Alaska - sounds different at least

they want four years of a foreign language

He is bilingual. It should not be an issue for him. (But this should be highlighted on your app, hksangha!)

Futureholds, that’s incorrect. The admissions webpage says three or more is recommended, but that this is not a requirement.

If it says “recommended”, it is pretty much required for all practical purposes. (The only exception is the “recommended application deadline” being 2 weeks before the actual one…)
