So I wanted to know if colleges will care if you take one or two cp classes in your entire high school career. I am not that good at French and I switched from a HN class to CP because I knew that I would fail the HN class but my friend is giving me crap for it and basically saying that I have comitted a grave mistake and it is going to affect my college admissions?
For any one course, it mostly matters whether your counselor will mark that you chose the “most demanding” schedule. Ask your counselor what his/her criteria for that are and whether you will fulfill it.
First, if you take college admissions advice from a teenager who has not been through the process, I’d suggest adding a huge grain of salt. Second, I agree with @ucbalumnus
