You have demonstrated strong leadership and an above average SAT score (not extremely competitive though).
One thing that might make a huge difference that you didn’t mention about is the courses you’ve taken
if you’ve taken a lot of AP/IB classes and have a great essay
your chances of getting in will increase.

<p>Stacie, NYU and Syracuse are reaches. In at Hofstra, Suffolk, Ithaca and Emerson. I know of a 2 people who have gotten into Emerson. One had siimilar gpa and scores. The other had lower gpa and simialr scores. Good chances at American and BU. Good luck!</p>

<p>although your ecs and your gpa are great, your sat scores are a little too low for nyu, and for syracuse because their communications program is really good.</p>

<p>but i think that you should get in to most- if not all of the rest of your schools.</p>

<p>Syracuse is not a reach…are you kidding me? …the only schools you have to worry about are BU and NYU</p>

<p>I read that syracuse’s acceptance rate was in between 48 and 51 & boston u’s rate was around 58…</p>

<p>but I hate to rely on just those statistics</p>
