Older sibling at Brown - Pros/Cons

Accepted, but brother is already there, currently a junior. Trying to decide if this improves or diminishes the experience, or neither.

The people I know here with siblings not in their year don’t really interact with their siblings here. I don’t know if this is typical, but I’d imagine it wouldn’t be a big deal either way for you.

I’ll echo what Uroogla said. I have a bunch of friends with siblings who also attend Brown, and it’s a big enough place that you don’t need to see them if you don’t want to. Some never talk to their siblings (even twins), while some make a point of having dinner together once a week or something. It’s all about how you want to work it out.

It won’t be a big deal unless you hate each other. In which case, he’d be gone in a year anyway.
