Hi my name is Jonathan I’m from Louisiana and I’m a junior in high school. I’m taking the act in June (first time) and I’ve already have my future planned : Whatever college I attend I’m going for my bachelors degree in business and for law (I want to become a lawyer) and I also want to walk on a football team as a quarterback. Right now I’m stuck between two colleges nearby where I live: Ole miss or Alabama I respectfully like both schools and would be proud to walk on either one I pick and that has the best law program.i know both schools has a decent act acceptance rate. I might be taking tours to both at some point between the summer and my senior year. Now I’m asking yall which college has the best law program and classes and what’s the environment and social life like…and the workout facilities (I workout in my off time)? Please add a lot of details
Lol if this post is real and I don’t believe for a second it is, you can’t just walk on as quarterback at the Universities of Alabama or Mississippi. Also you can’t study law as an undergrad in the US
Well first off I already know about the whole “walk on” thing on a d1 college football team and as a undergraduate what should I major in if I wanted to be a lawyer? This post is real by the way
You can literally major in anything. There is no set pre-law courses. You major in whatever you want, take the LSATs, and then apply to law school.
Well, what kind of law do you want to practice? If you want to do want to do patents for technical companies, for example, you might want to major in something technological (engineering, computer science, graphic design, etc.) Maybe if you want to argue criminal cases, you should major in criminal justice or forensics or something like that. Like guinea said - you can major in anything. My sister majored in political science and English and went on to law school.
