Im a green card holder and currently residing in Australia. I really want to attend ole miss in Fall 2016 but my SAT score is pretty awful because I wasn’t familiar with any of the content on the test because we don’t learn any of it in Australia. I got 970 CR+M and I don’t know what my GPA is because they don’t measure that here. Is gpa just for senior year or for the whole of high school… if its just senior year it would be above 2.5 but below 3.0 if its for all of high school then still above 2.5
I read on the ole miss website that they are changing the out of state admission requirements for the fall of 2016, you now need a 2.75 gpa and a 1020 SAT score or 22 ACT score.
Ive only taken the SAT once and I guess taking it again is an option but I don’t know that it would make much of a difference, ive also already applied and already sent in my SAT score.
in the second half of 9th grade and the first half of 10th grade I went on exchange to a US high school and I did cheerleading. other than that I don’t really do extra curricula’s as they aren’t emphasized in Australia and school is considered more important. the only other think im interested in that I have been doing for a long time is beekeeping
advice/thoughts/opinions on my chances and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
