WashU for finance.

Its a tough call …but will anyone wanna give me their two cents on which school shud be my pick. I would be pursuing Full time MBA

Vanderbilt—$20000 per yr scholarship

Olin ----$12000 per yr scholarship.

keeping aside the scholarship factor. plz suggest which of these schools will help me in my job search in a finance group such as Goldman sachs,UBS etc… in the northeast.

which of these schools has a better reputation in the US and

which of these schools has a better program

I’d say WUStL, but you might want to post this thread in the [MBA forum](http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/forumdisplay.php?f=14).

Now after two weeks of research I am ready to close this thread By saying WUSTL all the way…:)

however Vanderbilt University’s MBA program is very good.

My mother is an executive search consultant and works with clients such as Goldman Sachs and similar companies. I consulted her and she stressed Wash U. Especially for s student coming right out of grad school, the prestige of the school’s program is very important, and Wash U is able to boast such a program whereas Vanderbilt’s is not as impressive.

Go to Vandy, Nashville rocks, and from what I hear going there is a lot of fun!

I couldnt agree with u more… Nashville is definately a very nice place and the south, southeast is developing at great pace. Nashville is the music capital i believe . and people are very warm. VAnderbilt would have been my choice and still is on the top of my list. however I would be pursuing MBA, its a serious job and hence the ‘fun’ life etc. are parameters on the bottom of my list. i would like to be in a program whch is comparatively regarded better. even 1% better would be good enough to receive my vote.

wht r u pursuing drew00. o u have family/friends in nashville >

My grandma used to live in Nashville and my friend goes to vandy, so i’ve been down there a few times.

Thts really nice Drew00. u wud probable be very helpful to Us in understandng nashville.

So is it like a city full of music, life and golf courses ?
