@CellyZ Thanks, but WH wasn’t in the library so I got Jane Eyre instead. I’m about 30 pages in and it’s actually really good!

@AmbiD77 Oh your life? So did you freak out when it was reavealed Dan was GG in the TV show? I did, and then I had to step back and check out how much everyone changed! It was sad and awesome at the same time, mainly because I skipped about 3 seasons just to find out who Gossip Girl was.

^ Haha yeah, it’s actually really good! I mean, weird that it’s starting from when she’s about eight or nine, but it doesn’t make the story any less likeable.

At least for me, she got more insufferable the older she got. At a young age, the pathetic act is not so bad, as a full grown adult it’s just annoying. I’m in a definite minority though, so you’ll probably like it
I got a new history book today, about the after effects of WWI in 1918-1920. It was reccomended by the teacher I had interviewing me at Westminster, who’s going to be my housemistress next year!

@bsroxmysox I did!! I was flipping out, I couldn’t believe it at first! I really wanted it to be Dorota hahaha. You should definitely rewatch the seasons you missed :D

@UKgirl23 I know! The girl who sits next to me on the bus and my English teacher both said, today, that they loved the book! Funny you should mention history books, since I sleep through history class as our teacher likes to tell us entertaining stories rather than teach us. The stories are great, but we don’t learn anything. I am lucky that I got a B on the first semester history final! I thought for sure I’d failed it because so many of the questions were things I’d just learned and studied at home a few days ago.

@AmbiD77 I thought it was Dorota for a while too! She’s hilarious and sweet. I will definitely add Gossip Girl to the list of shows I need to finish, I think I stopped watching it when Nate had that affair with that older lady? Yeah, that’s where I kind of got into other shows and put that in the ‘to-do’ pile.

@bsroxmysox: Jane Eyre wasn’t that bad, in my opinion; I actually got through half of it before losing interest…but to be honest with you, I think it was because I was reading it while doing applications, so I should re-visit it. However, I’m not a big fan of “follow the whole life of a character” type story, since it reminds me of biographies So it was surprising that I didn’t hate Jane Eyre right off the bat!

@GoldenRatio Believe me, this is the first time I’ve committed myself to a book so arduous! It’s going to be a while, but I will finish it.

@hamburger110 I’m a bit confused by your reply. Are you saying that I’ll skim over her thoughts and just ghost over the text? If so, then I’ll let you know that it happens sometimes, but I get right back on track and re-read the paragraph once…or twice…

@hamburger110: Are you suggesting that I’m a bad reader? OO I have the highest reading comprehension scores in my grade! It’s just that I’m not particularly fond of classical literature. ><

@bsroxmysox: But still! I admire your persistence! I know for sure that I wouldn’t be able to commit to a story I am not fully invested into. :P

@bsroxmysox and @GoldenRatio: I mean that when she gave a speech, you guys will just stared at her without blinking. I don’t mean anything about reading! :)

Oh man. I know what happened. Since I posted in the quick reply box, I didn’t read the previous posts where you guys were talking about another thing :)
