I am currently watching pairs skating. Some of the women are having problems with their costumes in that it is riding up their butts too far. I am surprised that they don’t glue them down like beauty pageant contestants do.
Earlier I was watching curling. My husband had to leave the room. He said It was too stressful! Lol total Minnesotan!

H and I were so happy Shaun White won but then became incredibly upset at how he was dragging the flag around and not respecting it. Very poor etiquette, I would expect more from an experienced Olympian.

The Chinese man in the pairs skate is 33 years old. He clearly is not a college aged skater. I thought that his expressions were effective rather than the dramatic expressions on most of the kids. Good for him for being in his fifth olympics!
Regarding Shaun White- you all are aware of the icky icky sexual harassment he inflicted on a member of his band? I am not cheering for him.
Edited to add- he settled the case because she had kept the sexts he had sent her as well as messages.
Yes, my husband is conflicted about Shaun White – he wants to cheer for the old fart, but is disgusted by the sexual harassment stuff… sigh…

Yes, they trained for a few months last summer in Montreal with Bruno Marcotte who also coaches Canadian pairs Megan Duhamel and Eric Radford.
The North Koreans were excellent. I was shocked to see that she is 19 and he is 25. I thought they were younger.
I was not aware of the controversy around Shaun White. I really only follow sports and then just barely during the Olympics.
