Omen??!?!?

Was looking around on Harvard’s 2009-2010 Fact Sheet and here it is:

International Enrollment: Fall 2009 (1)
Latin America: 25
Middle East:43
North America: 148
Africa: 53
Asia: 175
Europe: 198
Oceania: 23
Stateless: 1
Total:666

o.0

I’m applying internationally so this made me chuckle :D

 rofl

Cali, I’ll start posting on “our” thread later tonight, gotta finish dinner and prepare for Harvard interview tomorrow. :)

Lol thats kinda creepy

Gucci. GL!

I’m curious, does anyone know what “stateless” means?

^ Somalia.

^Confirmed, or a guess?

While Somalia doesn’t actually have a state, I don’t see why a Somalian applicant wouldn’t still fit under African. Plus it’s uncharacteristically political for Harvard to declare Somalia a non-state, something with which some parties might not agree.

Merely the first thing that popped into my head when I saw “stateless”.

Maybe Antarctica is considered “stateless”? That’s the one continent/area/“state” that’s not covered by the above list.

PLO maybe.

An islands somewhere perhaps. Sealand? Micronesia? Would be interested to know…

I don’t think they have birthing facilities in Antarctica. Stateless can just refer to someone who doesn’t have citizenship in a country on one of those continents, probably a refugee with an awesome life story (in terms of admissions)

Damn those stateless refugees!

666 internationals enrolled?! Is this for the entire undergrad or just one year? Because if it’s for one year, then that is quite a high percentage of int’ls…

Just for fun, is Stateless an ‘international’ ? What is his/her nationality? Lacking the nationality that applicant should not be categorized as ‘international’. So, I say 665 internationals and 666 non-USA applicants.

At any rate a very underrepresented minority (in terms of region).
