<p>Most colleges realize that kids have off test days, and that your performance on one SAT might be a really bad combination of bad luck, nervousness, not your day, difficult test, etc.</p>
<p>Unless you take the test 5 times and do significantly worse 4 of those 5, I wouldn’t worry about it. I’d order the Question and Answer Service to get your testing materials back (it explains the answers too), and see if you made a major answering error (one bubble off on a bunch of them), had a bad day, or something else.</p>
<p>i am glad i took it as a junior… i got a full 300 points less than my previous PSAT tests. Atleast I have 2 more tries.</p>

<p>The probobility is SOOOOOOO low that they miscored your test its almost not worth thinking about. However, if on your score report there are a lot of ommissions-and you didn’t omit many-then it might have misread your answer sheet. Wait till then. By the way, when only 2 scores were changed due to handscoring-it started the whole investigation which led to 4000 being wrong. My point is, the fact that they take 2 scores out of millions so seriously suggests that errors in scoring almost never happen.</p>
<p>If all the Blue Book tests one takes and consistently scored in the 2200 + range, even up to the day before the test, gets a 1630 would that be reason enough to look into hand scoring? This result is worse than even my very first shot practice test by 300 + points. Those that think their scores are way off of what they expected, what part of the country/state are you in? Don’t want to be a PIA, but can not for the life of me understand what went wrong.</p>

but on the real deal i got a 1510 !!!
this just made me sick to my stomach, luckily i still have 2 more tries and i’m not aiming that high.</p>

<p>Man, I dropped 30 points from my Jan SAT…I cannot believe I got a 580 for Math. I’m really disappointed…</p>

<p>I dropped 400 points from my psat. I am so devastated. Thank god, I can take it again.</p>
<p>Any one that feels that they did do unusually poorly, which test did you have, the extra math one, and what state do you live in. Like I said few kids I know at school are dumbfounded some of their results not even in the realm of a possiblitity bar closing their eyes and randomly picking.</p>
