Don’t really follow basketball anymore- the egos are as large as their shoes
however I was fortunate enough to have gotten to see many games of the 1976-79 Seattle Sonics & Dennis Johnson was a critical and much loved part of that team.

I am shocked and saddened by his untimely death

I was also shocked. Even more when they mentioned his age. :(

What sad news.

Marrying into a family where abnormally tall and stretched-out people are common, and having a husband and two sons who are extremely tall, I am acutely aware of Marfan Syndrome. Several prominent athletes have died from complications of Marfan, which most didn’t even know they had. I wouldn’t be surprised if this unexpected and untimely (and seemingly unprovoked) death had some similar cause.
