How many people on this forums anyways…
It seems that every thread is about UPenn, which is a good thing, but a bad thing (for me anyways). Please infer.

Anyways, listening to music and trying to finish up all essays on the commonapp is a smart idea? Multitasking actually decreases productivity (FACT), but music might spark a memory or something (possible motivator?).

in response to your music thing… music is basically the ONLY way i can write. i wrote my common app essay last year (my teacher made us write a college essay as an assignment) the night before it was due at 1 am… i listened to my favorite song on repeat while writing and because of it i wrote a really good essay that every teacher that has read it has loved. its turned out to be the one im sending to colleges, with basically no tweaks. listening to the write music can evoke certain emotion in me, clear my thoughts, make my words sound better and helps me write more creatively. i see a marked difference between my writing when i write with the right music on vs writing without music. so i would say good idea.
