On-Campus Apts, need help choosing a room/building

So I am going to live on campus for the first time in the on-campus apartments because there are only dorms for freshmen. I’ve never lived on my own before, so I want to make sure I make the best choice concerning my apartment/room selection.

Unfortunately, I do not know too many people at my college so that eliminates choosing my roomies. The interface for room selection allows me to view the personality traits of people who have already booked a room, which is helpful so that I don’t choose to live with someone who marked “loud” and “visitors.”

I am undecided whether I want to live in the apartment building marked “Quiet” or an apartment with no specific restrictions. I am an introvert and like my quiet time, but I don’t want to live necessarily in a building where you have to be quiet as a mouse all the time. I want to have some sociability. That being said, I also want to get some sleep. I have trouble falling asleep regularly and get kept up when people are talking at a normal volume outside my door (in the hallway/living area).

As for the number of people in the apartments, I have the option of choosing to live with 3 other people or 5 other people (4 capacity and 6 capacity, respectively.) I am leaning toward the former. Is this the right choice?

Please give me some feedback on my decisions and any other advice related to living in on-campus apartments or independent living in general. Thanks!
