<p>I am interested in dorming for only the Fall term. Is this doable? </p>
<p>I contacted NYU for an answer, but i will not hear back until over the weekend. </p>
<p>The housing contract is binding for two semesters. You could still leave, but I think you would forfeit the housing deposit by doing so. Any particular reason for wanting to dorm for first semester only?</p>

I want to experience dorming and the “college experience”, but one semester will be less of a financial burden for myself and my parents.</p>
