i had ocs for the whoel second semester, but i did nothign bad to get it, i injured my collar bone, so the doctor pulled me out of Colorguard, they didnt have a class to put me in, so ive had ocs everyday. Is this bad for colleges to see?

plz help me

why would they call it ocs if its not

why not jsut call it study hall during that time

jsut change the name

because i had to check in the OCS room, with the kids that really had OCS

Just ask your guidance counselor to explain the circumstances in the counselor/school recommendation. It won’t matter if it is properly explained.

yea…it should be study hall or something…unfair to consider it a suspension

so, you had to go into a room, have them adjust the records for heavens sake, you weren’t suspended

Its like saying that you were suspended because you shared the same space as those that were

There is no excuse for it to say OCS anywhere, and to accept that is foolish, have them just wipe that part away on your transcript, a school can do that, and if you insist nicely, and they don’t change, bring in the big guns, mom and dad

THe OCS is a lie, you didn’t have it, so why should it be on the transcript in the first place

ask for an official copy of your school records and transcript (you are entitled – although some schools may hassle you about it and charge your for the copies).

read it over carefully and ask for any mistakes – including any mention of suspension – to be corrected. i would not rely on a GC to “explain” the situation – there should be no mention anywhere of a suspension.

do this now – rather than later – since the longer you wait, the harder it is to correct.
