On the list at “top house”. Not really affiliated with a particular person but I try to meet people at the parties. How do I know if they like me? How do I know if its worth coming to the next party, etc?

If they keep inviting you back they like you. If not they don’t.

So they will straight up say come next week, etc? What if you never get into that deep of a conversation where that is even brought up again. Ya know what I mean?

They will either call you or they won’t. It’s pretty simple.

So phone numbers are on the rush lists?

And they go down and call u if they like you?
So if youre on the list and they don’t call you after a couple of times does that mean they are not ineterested?

And who calls? Is it best to talk to as many people as possible or rush captain in particular?

The rush captains should have your phone number if you are on their rush list.

If you are not hearing from them, it could be that there’s not anything big going on, and they’ve been focusing on the guys that are at orientation.

But, I would say that if you don’t hear from them in the next few weeks, they may not be interested. Most of the houses have parties planned in July and early August, in Austin and in other cities, and they will be inviting the guys that they are rushing to those events.

The rush captains call for the most part, unless you have friends in the house who are calling you.

Yes, it is important to meet and talk to alot of people, but it is the rush captains who are kind of driving the recruitment effort.

It is definitely more important to talk to the rush captains because for the most part the actives that are there don’t really care about rush, they’re there for the beer and to meet the freshman girls
haha
