<p>What if you were writing your essay it was longer than the 2 pages that are provided? </p>
<p>Unlikely situation I know, but seriously…what if your essay turned out to be longer than those 2 pages and you still had time to write more and finish it up? Where would you write the rest of your essay?</p>

<p>You can’t write it anywhere else. The SAT scans just those two pages, so if you write outside of the margins, the essay graders don’t see it.</p>
<p>So review your essay and improve it:)</p>
<p>If it’s really an issue, you can just write smaller.</p>
