<p>I’m going to major in either French or history, which one should I put? I’ve taken AP French and also received a French award, while for history I’ve taken/will have taken 4 AP history classes. Should I put French b/c it’s more unusual?</p>
<p>Doesn’t matter, neither are capped. L&S is all the same thing. But I would say History.</p>

And it won’t matter because as a freshman you’ll be undeclared if you’re in the college of letters and science. An unusual major isn’t going to help you get in.</p>

It doesn’t matter which of the two majors you choose since they’re both offered by the college of Letters and Sciences. Just make sure you do NOT apply for the college of engineering or chemistry or the others instead of Letters and Science.</p>
