Once again...chances for URM

I was wondering if anyone had opinions on my chances at:

Dartmouth
Cornell
Columbia
Brown
Wellesley
Texas Tech
East Texas Baptist

I go to a public high school that’s not so great on the academic side of things. We have 6 listed APs yet, hardly any of the teachers are certified, so we can’t technically take all of the APs listed, and we can’t take any as juniors Most of our graduates go on to the local community college. (Not knockin’ community colleges though!)

Next yr sched.

AP Calc
AP Physics
AP U.S. Gov
Hon Economics
Adv. Treble Choir
Adv. Mixed Choir
AP English
Music Theory
Music History

(At my school, we have what we call “strands” which are kinda like majors. I’m “majoring” in performing arts (vocal), that’s why its required that I take so many music classes)

SAT I
Verbal 790
Writing 790
Math 720

SAT II
German 780
U.S. Hist 770
Bio: 750

Haven’t tabulated my community service yet, but it’ll only be about 100 hours. I help out at church with festivals, Sunday school teaching, festivals, programs, etc.

Accolades:

GPA 3.78.
Grades took a nose dive after my uncle got sick…I didn’t think it would affect me the way it did, but I guess his decreasing health was slowly eating away at me…I dropped from no. 7 to 12 in a year…I’m hoping a steady upward trend will help…

Rank: 11/139 (top 10%) I know…I’m working on it…

I’m looking to major in lingustics, and take that knowledge into the Marine corps as a 2nd Lt., and later into the FBI/CIA.

I know I need to boost my rank and work on ECs. Any feedback would we appreciated.

Thanks for y’all’s time.
-J

Dartmouth - slight reach
Cornell - slight reach/match
Columbia - reach
Brown - slight reach
Wellesley - match
Texas Tech - safety
East Texas Baptist - safety

I wouldn’t be suprised if you got into all of them

Thanks Drew. Anyone else?

Let’s see, you pretty much golden on all of them with Columbia being a minor problem. Personally, I was a URM with stats considerably lower than yours and managed to get into all I applied to with Darthmouth and Cornell both on my list.

you have a good chance at any school in the country

Shot for the stars!!!

Thanks y’all. I really appreciate it
