One admission months later

Is it possible for a student with really good stats to call a school that he did not apply to and ask them to look at his file for regular admission and hell pay like the full tuition and stuff?

would it be improper to call a school and make such a request?

Haha I’ve never heard of this situation and I’d love to know how that turns out. I hope they are polite about it.

I think it would be okay. What could it hurt? The reaction you get will probably depend on the college and your stats. You might give a short explanation as to why you are in the situation to need to call.

If it isn’t a specific school that you were thinking of contacting, this link has some colleges with rolling admissions and suggests calling to see if they are still accepting applications. http://www.princetonreview.com/college/apply/articles/types/deadlines.asp

Rubens,
years (and years) ago, a friend applied to Havard. Period. When she was rejected, her mom called Case, and it all worked out. I have also heard of GC’s calling a college where they thing the student would be a sure admit.
