One Course My Friend Took But I Was Never Able To

Since there are incoming freshmen, I have decided to create this thread to help new students realize what courses they may be missing out on if they do not plan their schedules carefully.

To students who’ve already experienced Berkeley(sophomores, juniors, and seniors), please name one course that your friend took but you didn’t. This may be because you thought the course was bad or good, or simply because the course was not related to your major and was designed specifically for another major(Like Chemical Engineering 150B). Please only name one course as I’m sure there are many other courses your friends took but you didn’t, but I don’t want ppl constantly posting tl;dr lists of courses.

This way, students will be able to follow page after page of this thread realizing what classes they may never get to take, like that one student who decided to take math 1b and thus forfeiting his chance of ever taking math 16b like his friend will. From this thread, ppl will be encouraged to try out good and bad classes to experience all sides of Berkeley!

Freshman year: Linear Algebra during his 1st quarter, I woulda’ taken this buy it interfered with my quantum physics time slot.

well my friend is an architecture major and he took ARCH 170B and i realized that since i am a chemistry major in the college of chem, i will not be able to take this course because i would have to take the architecture prerequisites. not that i wanted to take it, but i hope that by mentioning this, freshmen will be helped like the aim of this thread

My friend took Astro C10 which is suppose to be an amazing course. Since I am an engineer I probably won’t have room in my schedule to take many fun courses.
