One Fish, Two Fish

Can you guys give me some small (but respectable) schools near/in metropolitan areas that I have a good chance of getting a large, or possibly full, scholarship?

I wouldn’t list Who’s Who as an Award/Recognition if I were you, it’s just a scam.

Everything is top-notch other than that SAT. Before you make any hasty conclusions, see what your results on the new test are.

bump…

I concur with HeavenWood.

Banard, Sarah Lawrence, Brandeis

Red fish, blue fish.
Work on your SAT and then we’ll be able to tell. The scholarships go out not only by how good of a student you are, but also by how much better your numbers can make the school look.

no school will give you a full scholarship with your sat scores.

i wouldn’t count on that being something that will get you merit aid, frankly your sat’s need to be higher if you want a full ride somewhere.

beyond that how about occidental in los angeles?

“(This is the score from my first and only attempt at the (old) SAT. I
took it with no preparation a couple years ago, so I expect to see a
lot of improvement on my next attempt.)”

That was my first time with no prep. I’m taking it again. What is the minimum score I should be aiming for?

Depends on the caliber of the schools you are aiming for. For example, you could probably get some good money at Sarah Lawrence right now (which doesn’t even LOOK at SATs, BTW).

Your aim should be at a 2400 if you want a chance of a scholarship. Aim for the gold and try your best, whatever happens, happens.

What does bump mean? Also I haven’ taken the new SATs yet, I took the old one a couple years ago, what is considered a ‘good’ score on the new SATs??

Are you RosaBlanca or BigU212?

bump is just a word added to a discussion to give it some activity and “bump” it to the top of the list of discussions.
