One last question!!

Ok so for the short (100 word) question it says "We know you lead a busy life, full of activities, many of which are required of you. Tell us about something you do for the pleasure of it. "

should I write about playing piano or sewing?

I only ask because I only included piano in my activities not sewing

Whichever one you feel more strongly about, although it might be cool to include sewing since you haven't said anything about it yet.

alright thanks that's what I thought too! oh yeah I forgot to mention that I am sending in piano arts supplement so I guess this choice is clear haha

Do you guys think it's overdoing it to talk about the same thing more than once in the application? Even 2-3 times: in what I do for fun, in activities, and in the extra part (all in different concentrations/ different lights highlighting different aspects of the activity)?

In other words, is it better to convey extreme passion towards one thing or more scattered interests?

yeah idk i feel like stuff they look for contradicts other things they want...but I think MIT is fun and their applicaiton is meant to be fun so that's why I'm putting sewing on mine...plus it highlights characteristics that I have: variety, flexibility... just have fun with it

yes I agree, the MIT app is actually really fun...

gets you to think about things in different ways. and there's lots of space to show who you are.
