<p>I have a disability that has made for sme pretty funny stories, and I want to write about this as my Common App essay topic. The stories fit well with my personality, so I think it would reflect who I am as a person. </p>
<p>However, I picked up Gelb’s “Conquering the admissions essay in 10 steps”, and felt like he was suggesting one narrative works best. Obviously, I’m not treating his thoughts as the bible on what my essay should be like, but I do think it’s worth noting.</p>
<p>Do you think I should describe a few short stories and tie them together, or describe one long story related to my disability and let my personalit show through that? I appreciate your thoughts.</p>
