One of many, but chances at yale?

<p>I know there are hundreds of these, but could someone tell me their opinion of my chances at yale? Not sure whether my ecs qualify as strong enough. White female, interested in architecture.</p>

<p>SATI- 2390
GPA- 4.0
will have taken 9 ap courses by graduation.
Haven’t received sat2 scores yet. </p>

<p>Ecs:
4-year varsity soccer player and captain, all-section. Also played top-50 club. (In contact with yale coach, but not likely to be recruited due to injury.)
Had solo art show at museum
All-county violinist
On board of jsa (junior statesmen) for two years
Nutrition club
Taught sailing (volunteer) for 2 summers
Girl Scout with gold award
Architecture intern</p>

<p>Obviously your GPA and test scores are good. I imagine being a female interested in a math heavy field helps some. You have a good shot. Just make sure you sound interesting. Let them know that you have lots of interests and want to explore many different things. The reason a student with scores like yours would be rejected is if you seem boring. What that really means is someone they think would be unlikely to really take advantage of all Yale offers and would be better suited to a less liberal-artsy school. </p>

<p>what sets you apart? What makes you different from the other several thousand class vals and 2400 scorers? Stats get you into the game, and you’re certainly now into the game. It’s time to figure out what makes you truly special.</p>
